HTML Emails are the fastest, most affordable, and direct form of marketing available.
In 2013, 838 billion marketing messages were sent by email. That’s 116 marketing emails for every single person on the planet. So, why is email marketing so popular?

An effective email marketing strategy must cover every aspect of a campaign, including the use of subject lines, striking the right tone, engaging the customer with design, delivering value-added content, and social sharing.
Popularity – 74% of consumers prefer to receive commercial communications via email (Merkle).
Emails in general aren’t perceived to be intrusive, but an email marketing campaign that is personalised, or targeted to a customers particular interests or previous purchases will result in a deeper relationship, with increased trust between a brand and it’s customers.
Speed of delivery – 91% of consumers check their emails on a daily basis (ExactTarget).
Although an effective email marketing campaign should be planned well in advance, an email can be designed, developed, and distributed within hours of inception. This quick turnaround time allows companies and brands to react to events that don’t fall into the traditional marketing plan.
Cost – Email marketing has an ROI of 4,300% (Direct Marketing Association).
One of the key advantages of email marketing is the relative affordability. It’s amazingly cost-effective. A professional email marketing campaign that is broadcast to a targeted database with a possible ROI of around 4,300% (according to the Direct Marketing Association), an email campaign can pay for itself.
How does it work?
If you have gone to the trouble of capturing your clients or customers email addresses, then you absolutely have to use them to stay in touch, increase loyalty, and generate sales. If you don’t have a database of customers, lists of targeted email addresses can be purchased from respectable suppliers. We do not supply data.
We use your database in conjunction with a mailing software provider called Streamsend. Once we have established the goals of the email campaign, we will design and build an HTML email that is optimised for mobile viewing, compliant with all major mail clients, and follows the industry best practices for code.
The email is sent to the database to appear as if it has come from an official client email address, and a comprehensive reporting system is instantly available to monitor the effectiveness of the campaign.
The emails can also be personalised to contain names, account numbers, coupons, and targeted special offers.
DBD Digital staff have been trained in the latest Data Protection practices to ensure that your mailing list is handled in a secure way, with TLS encrypted email communication available between DBD and your company if required.
